  Occupational Therapy Associates of Princeton

is a state-of-the-art private practice dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of infants, children, and young adults. OTAP specializes in sensory integration and focuses on treating the “whole child” using a multi-sensory developmental approach. At OTAP each child learns the fundamentals necessary to create a foundation for learning so that each child can build on their strengths, and experience success.

OTAP believes that parents are an integral part of the therapy process. Each parent is provided with on site trainings following all treatment sessions for increased carryover of services in the home. OTAP is successful in advocating for their clients in the schools during team meetings and in working with special education lawyers.

OTAP provides comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatments for a variety of diagnoses including Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Autism Spectrum Disorder/PDD, Aspergers Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD/ADHD), Selective Mutism, Hearing Impairments, Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), Oral motor / Feeding Issues, Learning Disabilities, Coordination Disorders, Dyspraxia, and Psychiatric Disorders (OCD, Bipolar Disorder).

OTAP provides successful group programs for the children including social skills, “How Does Your Engine Run” sensory social skills, yoga groups, movement groups, handwriting groups and core training groups.
