  • "Our daughter loves the way Jenn makes the activities playful..."

We were referred to Jenn after my daughter was diagnosed with torticollis and had difficulty moving her neck and mouth around normally. Since starting, the improvements have been drastic, and our daughter has been able to hit all her milestones. Our daughter loves the way Jenn makes the activities playful, and we have appreciated having the highest quality care for her. We are excited to continue to work with Jenn as our daughter starts solid foods and works towards learning to crawl and walk. We couldn’t recommend her more and are so grateful we were referred.

  • "Jenn has been phenomenal with our two boys."

Jenn has been phenomenal with our two boys. Our oldest son has ADHD. but before he could even talk, he was having extreme problems with impulse control to the point that he was asked not to return to his preschool. Jenn has worked so intentionally with him on talking through his emotions, helping him recognize what is going on in his body, and how to calm down when he has excess energy. Jenn has also worked with his current Pre-K class to come up with an appropriate plan to help Levi succeed. This year Levi is doing so well, and we know it is because of the work Jenn has been doing over the last 2 years. We are so thankful to OTAP because now we see our son thriving!!

  • "I would recommend OTAP to any family who is in need of the guidance and support of an occupational therapist."

Probably the greatest lesson my son learned during his sessions at OTAP is how to feel comfortable in his own skin. He also learned the types of sensory input and body movements that are calming and organizing to him. This has helped him cope with his sensory integration issues and overcome his social anxiety. The occupational therapists at OTAP also focused a great deal on parent education so I could build on my son’s success and implement many of the strategies in our daily life. I would recommend OTAP to any family who is in need of the guidance and support of an occupational therapist.

  • "I will be forever grateful for the time, energy, and love our OT puts into Matthew’s appointments."

Like any mother, I want the best for my child. I want him to be healthy, happy, smart, social and confident in his abilities. Six months ago, I was desperate for my son, Matthew, to get help with his sensory integration issues. It affected his behavior at school, play, and home. I was referred to OTAP, and in the past six months, I have seen in him a renewed exuberance to learn, a confidence that extends outside his appointments, and an increase in his gross and fine motor skills. I will be forever grateful for the time, energy, and love our OT puts into Matthew’s appointments. She has taken the time to listen to both Matthew and I, use her expertise to pinpoint areas where she can help, and follow through with praise. I feel like we have a great plan for the future, and I could not be happier or more grateful. Thank You!

  • "I will always be thankful for the therapists at OTAP for giving us the tools we needed..."

"My 5-year-old son began with OTAP 10 months ago, and to say it has changed our lives is an understatement. My son is very bright, curious, and in constant motion. He also seemed clumsy and would often bang into others while playing. This led to many one-time-only play dates for him. As a parent I was constantly heartbroken for him and equally frustrated. He was diagnosed with ADHD. I was then fortunate enough to meet the therapists at OTAP, and we saw a difference within 2 months. My son is now able to play with others. and he is just like the other children. Our whole household is calmer, and my son is an absolute joy to be around. I will always be thankful for the therapists at OTAP for giving us the tools we needed to help our amazing little boy."

Are you ready to get started with Occupational Therapy Associates of Princeton?

Here’s our process, from intake to progress!

We look forward to having you join us in our state-of-the-art, fully renovated 5000-square-foot therapy facility, which includes specialized sensory gyms, individual treatment rooms, and a dedicated infant/toddler space.

Step One: Our Initial Conversation

When you call OTAP, you will have the opportunity to speak with our patient care coordinator.

During this phone call, our patient care coordinator will ask you about your child and your concerns and tell you more about the programs and services we offer at OTAP.

Following that call, you will be emailed our Intake Packet for completion.

Step Two: Evaluation

Upon receipt of your completed intake packet, you will be matched with a therapist, and your evaluation sessions will be scheduled.

At OTAP, we take the time to really get to know your child, which is why our evaluations take place over three 30-minute sessions. During these sessions, we will identify your child's specific strengths and weaknesses and use this information to develop your child's personalized plan of care.

Step Three: Attend Therapy

At the completion of the evaluation sessions, our therapists will determine the most appropriate plan for your child and your family.

We typically schedule your child's therapy sessions in the same time slot your child received their evaluation so they can continue on with the same therapist. A typical therapy session will be 30 minutes in length and occur 1-2 times a week.
