"Muscles And Movement"

Strength training starts with "core" training. The core is the part of your body where all movement originates - all of the muscles around the spine, the abdominals, and the muscles that lie beneath the "six-pack".

This intensive muscle-strengthening program is designed for children with poor coordination, low muscle tone, sensory integration dysfunction, and low self esteem.

In this group, children will:

  • Strengthen "core" muscles
  • Learn effective diaphragmatic breathing for increasing endurance
  • Improve posture during table top activities
  • Increase balance
  • Learn to regulate the vestibular sensory system
