| This program is designed to teach self-awareness, confidence, self-esteem, and feelings of empowerment through learning to notice one's own level of alertness. Students will learn how to change from high alert to more appropriate states of arousal for better focusing and learning. This innovative program will provide children with strategies to be applied at home, in school and during social interactions. The technique combines cognition with sensory integration for increased recognition of arousal level and self-regulation. | |
